Rotom Grandmother’s Health Centre
Summary:
H2O 4 ALL partnered with ROTOM (reachone-touchone.org) previously to construct a water borehole supply system that supplies 10,000 litres of water/day to meet the needs of their Health Centre in Mukono.
Impact:
Since the project's implementation, the risk of waterborne illness among the hospital's beneficiaries has gone down and overall community health has improved. Medical workers at the Centre have adequate water to maintain hygiene, allowing them to keep themselves and their patients safe. In addition, patients no longer have to pay for water or bring their own water.
