Kapiri Village Well Repairs
Summary:
Repaired 4 wells that were not functioning. We were also equipped with tools and trained local villagers on how to repair other wells that are non-functioning. It is estimated that there are 4000 inoperable wells in Zambia.
Impact:
The community now has safe water from a sustainable source. If the wells around Kapiri stop functioning again, the community will have the skills and tools they need to maintain their water resources.
