Shelter Them Uganda

In 1994, Jules Higiro was a soldier who helped end the genocide of the the Tutsis in Rwanda. In the aftermath of the conflict, Jules made it his mission to help children whose families had been killed or separated, and Shelter Them was born. Shelter Them integrates orphans into families and gives them the resources they need to thrive. By providing healthcare, education, and family support, they provide children with the means to design their own future.
Shelter Them has partnered with H2O4ALL to bring safe water to Gateko Village. This year, a community center built by Shelter Them has received a safe water system, providing the community with safe water and allowing Gateko's children to get an education safely.
