Watoto Suubi Uganda
Summary:
Solar-powered water purifying system was installed in Suubi Village. The water collected will be used for drinking, bathing, cooking, and irrigation of crops.
Impact:
1000 US gallon ponds were installed which will ultimately create a self-sustaining infrastructure for water harvesting and utilization throughout the year for the community of Suubi Village. The project promotes healthy living among 500 children and improves the quality of life of 5,000 people in surrounding communities.
